Preparing for my Residency/Solo show at Degreeart Gallery, London

It’s been a very busy year so far, especially in the last few weeks! I am less than 2 weeks away from my very first residency and solo show and am in the rough planning stages of what I am going to do… I have bought the wall paint (hoping to God that the shade of colour is ok!) and lighting to transform the gallery into a ‘shrine-like’ setting, and some very large canvases for some large painted-drawings I have in mind. Bigger than any I have done before! I am looking forward to having the gallery space as a studio for six weeks – another thing that I have never had. The commute to London everyday will also be a new one on me! So I’m looking forward to all these new things and how they will affect my practice. I will be updating this blog as I go (If you are interested in coming to see my work, the exhibition is on at Degreeart, 12a Vyner Street, London E2 9DG from 17th June – 28th July, 12-6pm Mon- Sun)Image
